Manicuring
Overview
The Manicuring Program consists of two (2) competency-based courses, described below. Fully approved by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (CSBBC)* this program designed to prepare individuals for California's licensing examinations. Students will receive hands-on instruction and practical experience. Program topics include: State regulations, basic business skills, health and safety, hazardous substances, chemistry, electricity, bacteriology, principles of infection control and sanitation, and anatomy and physiology.Techniques in manicuring, pedicuring, and artificial nail enhancements are included.

Manicuring Program Prerequisites:
- Completion of 10th grade (or equivalent)
- Completion of CTE STEP Course
Other Required Documents:
- 1 Social Security Card (no copies)
- Must be signed
- 1 Government-issued Photo ID (no copies):
- State ID (OR)
- Drivers License (OR)
- Passport
